What are the measures that The Rink will be taking to ensure the safety of skaters and visitors?
Aligning with the government’s measures, The Rink will have in place the following safety measures:
a) TraceTogether Check-in: All skaters are required to check in using the TraceTogether app/token upon entry & exit. The Rink will turn away skaters and visitors with fever and/or who appear unwell. Skaters and visitors are required to download and utilise their QR code reader to enable them to scan the SafeEntry/ Exit code.
b) Reduce Physical Interaction and Ensure Safe Distancing: The Rink will re-organize skaters’ traffic flow, beginning with the queue system, entry to The Rink and space management within the facility. This is to ensure that the mixing of groups is minimised to transient contact. The facility will undergo periodic cleaning with disinfectant solution, hand soaps will be made available in all washrooms and skate boots will be sanitised frequently to ensure hygiene.
c) Crowd Management: A maximum of 50 skaters are allowed per public skating session/lessons.
Learn-to-Skate Group Lessons
– All group lessons will be kept at 4 students to a coach. Everyone is reqquired to wear face masks at all times (on/off ice).
Private Lessons (2 pax) – Currently not available

Individual Lessons:
Students are required to adhere to the physical distancing of 2m on ice between coach and 3m between students at all times.
d) Wearing of Masks & Personal Hygiene: Visitors and skaters are required to wear face masks at all times (on/off ice).
Hand sanitisers are placed at the gantry of The Rink. Visitors and skaters are strongly encouraged to wash their hands thoroughly and or sanitise their hands.
e) Enhance Cleaning Protocols: High touch surfaces made of plastic or metal, such as doorknobs, gantry, ticketing counter tops will be cleaned routinely with disinfectant. Cleaners will put on disposable gloves when performing of tasks and discard after completion of tasks.
