What are the measures that The Rink will be taking to ensure the safety of skaters and visitors?
Aligning with the government’s measures, The Rink will have in place the following safety measures:
a) Contact Tracing & Temperature Screening: The Rink will implement the SafeEntry Visitor Management System for skaters and visitors and will be conducting temperature screenings before allowing entry. The Rink will turn away skaters and visitors with fever and/or who appear unwell. Skaters and visitors are required to download and utilise their QR code reader to enable them to scan the SafeEntry/ Exit code.
b) Reduce Physical Interaction and Ensure Safe Distancing: The Rink will re-organize skaters’ traffic flow, beginning with the queue system, entry to The Rink and space management within the facility. This is to ensure that the mixing of groups is minimised to transient contact. The facility will undergo periodic cleaning with disinfectant solution, hand soaps will be made available in all washrooms and skate boots will be sanitised frequently to ensure hygiene.
c) Crowd Management: A maximum of 50 skaters are allowed per public skating session/lessons.
Learn-to-Skate Group Lessons

Strictly no mixing of groups will be allowed during lessons and students and coaches are required to maintain a physical distancing of 2 meters apart during lessons.
2m physical distancing between coach and student and 3m physical distancing between pairs are to be adhered at all times.
d) Wearing of Masks & Personal Hygiene: Visitors and skaters are required to wear face masks when they enter the facility. Hand sanitisers are placed at the gantry of The Rink. Visitors and skaters are strongly encouraged to wash their hands thoroughly and or sanitise their hands.
