Advance Learn-to-Skate: Ice Hockey
Through fun team-building games to enriching challenges, Advance Learn-to-Skate Ice Hockey course aims to train eager skaters to play this respectable international sport on a competitive level.
Skaters will be taught skills and dexterity required to maneuver and respond with ease on the ice. You will also be playing the sport with fellow ice hockey enthusiasts to build up the foundations of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Advance Learn-to-Skate Ice Hockey is suitable for adults and kids, aged 6-years old and above.
Group classes are split by age group, the ratio being 8 students to 1 coach. Lessons are conducted over four weekends, every Sunday. Skaters are required to complete Core Blades (Basic) Level 3 before they can sign up for ice hockey.
- Ice Hockey Level 1.1 – 1.3 (12 lessons) & 2.1 – 2.3 (12 lessons): 5.15pm to 6pm
- Ice Hockey Level 3.1 – 3.3 (12 lessons) & 4.1 – 4.3 (12 lessons): 6.30pm to 7.15pm
- Ice Hockey Level 5-6 : 8pm to 8.45pm (12 lessons)

LTS Hockey Level 1.1 to 1.3 Covers the basics of ice hockey, safety, choosing the appropriate hockey stick, and on-ice basics such as the correct stance and puck control. Available for junior skaters with height of 1.60m and below, and at least 6 years old.

LTS Hockey Level 2.1 to 2.3 Completion of the Advanced LTS Hockey level 1 is followed by further team play modules, please consult your coach to enroll and undergo the Competitive Stream of the Singapore Ice Hockey Association. Programme currently only available for Youth.

LTS Hockey Level 3.1 to 3.3 Learn basic of passing and the different ways to shoot like a basic sweep shot, wrist shot to snap shot during stationary and movement moment.

LTS Hockey Level 4.1 to 4.3 Covering all previous Ice Hockey Advanced LTS Level 1 to 3, in preparation for further team play modules and advancement to youth development (below 16yrs) after completion of Advanced LTS Level 4.
Level 4 also covers Individual Skill Technical Development for individual players.

There are inherent and other risks involved in the sport of ice skating and injuries are a common occurrence of the sport. All skaters, customers or any other person present at The Rink, JCube, remain solely responsible for their own safety at The Rink and shall comply with all safety rules and guidelines that may from time to time be applicable. -
