Individual lessons allow you to enjoy undivided attention from experienced and certified skating coaches, to produce the best results through one-to-one lessons that allow you to work on the skills you want. Individual lessons are suitable for all age group and levels from basic to advance.

Classes have to be booked 3 days in advance at our Customer Service Counter. Select an Individual lesson time-slot of your choice from our public skating schedule and choose your coach from our list of certified coaches.

With effect from 1 Nov 2018, all Individual Learn-to-Skate students are entitled to free spectator admission for one accompanying* adult during lessons. Any subsequent accompanying* adult or child will be required to pay spectator admission at $4 each.
*Public skating admission rate applies should accompany adult or child choose to skate.

Alicia Chong

Alicia started skating since 2007. She enjoys coaching as it allows her to see skating from a different perspective and finds it beautiful to watch the progression and accomplishment of her students. She works well with kids and has a minor in early childhood education from NIE/NTU.

Charissa Lin

Charissa’s passion for ice skating started as a teenager when she was drawn to the gracefulness and athleticism of the sport. As a coach, she hopes to impart her skills and love of the sport to her students and her greatest satisfaction comes from helping them achieve their full potential. She specializes in Choreography, Freestyle Single and Pair Skating.

Cheryl Lim

Despite a late start in figure skating, Cheryl makes up for it with a strong background in lyrical and contemporary dance. She fell in love with the beauty of figure skating and hopes to inspire her students to do their best in the sport. She believes that with passion and tenacity, anyone can achieve excellence. Cheryl teaches students of all ages and welcomes anyone with the heart to learn.

Christina Sim

Christina has been skating for over 30 years, with 11 years of coaching experience specializing in Freeskate and Ice Dance. She incorporates fun and safe elements while coaching the art of skating to beginner and advanced skaters alike. During her competitive years, she clinched 3 Gold medals in Freeskate, Artistic, and Pairs respectively.

Condrey Liu

Accomplishment:

Condrey is one of the few male coaches who specializes in figure skating. His focus during classes is for the students to have fun and enjoy the process of learning to ice skate. Beyond just learning to skate, he encourages them to try out different techniques for different elements. He was also a multiple gold medalist in the ISI recreation competitions.

Danielle Han

Certification for National Standards for Youth Sports awarded by Sport Singapore
Accomplishment:

Danielle was a SEA Games Medalist for Short-Track Speed Skating and ranked in the top 5 at the Asian Trophy 2014 and 2017. She is certified by the International Paralympics Committee (IPC) for basic Para Sports Coaching and has experience working with special needs athletes. Her passion for ice skating stems from seeing how good technique can make it look effortless.

Elaine Toh

Elaine is one of the pioneer ice skating coaches in Singapore. Figure skating is a beautiful yet challenging sport in her eyes, which made her decide to specialize in coaching figure skating. Genevieve Har

Genevieve specializes in freestyle and her years of dancing helped hone her Choreography and Artistry skills. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and has trained with international coaches. Her students range from beginner to National squad levels. Apart from technique, strength and conditioning, she hopes to provide a nurturing environment that aids skaters in reaching their goals.

Lee Chow Ying

As a coach, Chow Ying works towards bringing out the best in her students while expecting commitment, determination and focus from them. During her competitive years, she was crowned Singapore National Champion in the Adult Gold category in 2006 and 2007. She also won Gold at the Mountain Cup 2006 (in France) and Silver at the ISU Adult Competition 2009 (in Germany).

Michelle Lee

Michelle pursued the path of coaching in order to groom and nurture the future generation of skaters after retiring from competitive skating. She used her background in dance and knowledge in Sport Science to analyze and correct skating movement. She wants her skaters to not only learn new techniques but also to take away important values like sportsmanship and perseverance.

Raymond Cheah

Accomplishment:

Being one of the pioneers of ice skating in Singapore, Raymond has participated and won medals in the 1st Singapore Nationwide Ice Skating Competition as well as many others. Raymond is a highly experienced coach and has trained skaters from Kids Learn-to-Skate to competitive levels. He hopes to help skaters fulfill their dream of being a competitive or leisure skater.

Sally Ong

Accomplishment:

Sally is a ISI Gold Level Judge (International) in freestyle skating. Before moving into figure skating, she was active in ballet and modern dance which now helps her in coaching Freestyles, Figure, Choreography and MIF. Her students range from as young as 5 years old to adults, for both recreational and competitive skating.

Zhang Wei

Accomplishment:

Zhang Wei has coached National skaters in China, Thailand and is currently coaching in Singapore. Prior to coaching, he was a China National Team skater from 1997 to 2001 and won the gold medal in the 1999 Asian Winter Games. His passion for the sport has led him to become a figure skating coach and a choreographer. His key achievement includes having his pair skaters students win Gold medals in World competitions and the Youth Olympic.

Diane is one of the few female ice hockey coaches in Singapore. During her time as the National Team Assistant Captain for Women's National team in 2014, 2016 and 2017, the team won a 3rd place in IIHF Women's Challenge Cup of Asia. Diane hopes to grow the sport and eventually make ice hockey into a school CCA.

Kevin Tan

Kevin is a certified Ice Hockey Coaching Director, issued by International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), conducted at Sport Institute of Finland, Vierumäki. He holds the appointment Chief, Head of Coaching, with Singapore Ice Hockey Association (SIHA) and conducts regular coaching certification courses for NROC trainee coaches for Sports Singapore.

Mark Song

Mark teaches 2 disciplines - Speed Skating and specializing in Hockey Power Skating. During his competitive years, he was a National Team player for ice hockey and was previously a National Floorball coach.
