Kids Learn-to-Skate (For Age 3 – 5)

Nurture your kid’s interest in ice skating from young, and give them the opportunity to chase their dream of being the next great Figure Skater, Speed Skater or Ice Hockey player!

The Kids Learn-to-Skate course is suitable for kids aged 3 to 5-years-old.

Classes are split by age group, with the ratio being 5 students to 1 coach.

Classes are conducted every Tuesday:

  • Kids Level 1: 3pm to 3.30pm
  • Kids Level 2: 3pm to 3.30pm
  • Kids Level 3: 3.30pm to 4pm

Tuesday | 3pm - 3.30pm

30-minute lesson + open skate practice for each class

Kids learn the safety basics, how to fall and get up, stationary dip, penguin steps and two foot glide.

Tuesday | 3pm - 3.30pm

30-minute lesson + open skate practice for each class

Learn how to forward swizzles, backward wiggles and basic forward skating.

Tuesday | 3.30pm - 4pm

30-minute lesson + open skate practice for each class

Learn how to forward swizzles, backward wiggles and basic forward skating.

Terms and Conditions: All payments for Learn-to-Skate lessons must be made online at least 72 hours before the commencement of the lesson • All payments made are non-refundable • Change of session when course has commenced is not allowed • There will be no make-up lesson unless with valid medical certificate • In the event that you need to reschedule your block of lessons, please notify The Rink through email (info@therink.sg) at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson, subject to availability and approval • All Learn-to-Skate students are entitled to free spectator admission for one accompanying adult during lessons. Any subsequent accompanying adult or child will be required to pay spectator admission at $4 each • Management reserves the right to cancel lessons without prior notice. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS: Ice skating and associated activities are classified as high risk sports. There are inherent and other risks involved in the sport of ice skating and injuries are a common occurrence of the sport. Skaters (including their guests and parents/ guardians) voluntarily participate in these activities with knowledge of the risks involved and agree to accept any and all responsibility for and risk of injury, demise, physical or mental illness, and harm, loss or damage to person or property (collectively, “Injury”) that may occasion from ice skating. Sport Singapore (formerly known as the Singapore Sports Council) and CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd (as managing agent of The Rink) are not responsible for any Injury howsoever caused to any skater, customer or any other person present at The Rink (including any person below 6 years of age). All skaters, customers or any other person present at The Rink, JCube, remain solely responsible for their own safety at The Rink and shall comply with all safety rules and guidelines that may from time to time be applicable.
